Our Year of Adventures - Travels through Southeast Asia, New Zealand and Australia

It has been just over a year since we started our journey across the world so we thought it would be a perfect time to post a yearly review. This is our chance to share some photos that encapsulate our favourite moments and reminisce about the most exciting year of our lives. Our travels around Asia have been full of adventures from beginning in India where we saw Bengal Tigers in the wild, heading to Thailand where we got to hang out with rescued Elephants and moving on to Malaysia where we ate some phenomenal food that we still dream about now. We then had the honour of travelling through Indonesia seeing Orangutans, climbing active volcanoes and getting lost with locals. Borneo was next where we did some diving at one of the best sites in the world, saw breathtaking temples in Cambodia, had a legendary trip riding motorbikes through Vietnam and relaxed on pristine beaches in the Philippines. We moved further around the globe as we fell in love with New Zealand on our fabulous road trip with the Bellamy-Lees spotting Sperm Whales, journeying from The Shire to Mount Doom and sailing through the breathtaking Milford Sound. Finally we ended the year on a road trip through tropical Queensland in Australia after a few months in beautiful Noosa enjoying the Aussie way of life. We have seen so many wonderful things and we are genuinely both so grateful for the opportunities we've had. This blog has been a fabulous little diary which we will continue as long as our adventurous little hearts will allow us.
